Dear Beth,
Thank you so much for your expertise in making arrangements for a bus trip for our group from The Friends of the Youngstown Library. Our Sept. 29th excursion to the Amish Country was a big success.
Many of the group is seasoned travelers and there were many positive comments passed on to me, as well as phone calls & a thank you note. A few even said it was one of the best trips they’d been on. I understand that our guide, Carol Lorenc, was a substitute. Many comments were that she made the trip, with her vast knowledge & understanding of the area and its people. Her ability to share this information with us was great. Of course many also enjoyed the wonderful baked goods and cheese shop opportunities. I guess we all like to browse in the different shops too.
I can’t forget our driver, Big Ed. He did a wonderful job of maneuvering the bus through the narrow roadways & sharp turns. A few more were disappointed that there wasn’t time for a coffee stop on the way down (only restroom) but some construction slowed us near Niagara Falls, and Ed wanted us to be able to meet our guide in a timely fashion, and we did.
Hopefully, next fall we can arrange another trip for our group. It was a new experience for me, and I enjoyed working with you.

Very truly yours,
Marge McCollum

Elizabeth,
I want to thank you for a fun and enjoyable trip to Cleveland (August 11 and 12, 2007) for Yankees vs. Indians series. The games were great. The seats were great. The Holiday Inn hotel in suburban Cleveland was comfortable. Jerry was our bus driver. He drove the bus up to the stadium (Jacobs field) as close as possible for my friend Pennie and the other passengers. Pennie is blind and physically challenged. Jerry was a skilled driver and courteous to the customers. Thanks again for a great trip.

Dear Mr. Swanson,
The first trip with D&F for myself and my 2 teenagers was the New York City overnight. We had a very fantastic time! We can’t believe we saw so many sights, far more than we expected. Great weather too.
Our coach driver was Angela whose driving skills constantly amazed me, especially in busy and narrow situations. The step-on guide Jerry was phenomenal, so very enthusiastic, friendly and interesting. The bus guide Lori was helpful and organized. The accommodations at the Hilton Hasbrouck were extremely nice and comfortable.
I wanted to know how much we enjoyed this sensational trip, driver and guides.

Sincerely,
Patricia Cascia

Dear Beth,
Just a note to tell you how very much my family and I enjoyed our bus trip to Toronto to see Wicked on Sunday, Nov. 12th.

Your bus is very comfortable… the bus driver was very polite and accommodating.

The play was WONDERFUL!! A couple of us had seen it before, once in Toronto and twice in New York..it’s one of the special ones that you enjoy seeing again.

Dinner at Joe Badali’s was great..good choices and delicious food.

Sounds as tho’ we were really pleased, and we were. Just wanted to let you know.

Dear D & F Travel;

I want to thank you for running another successful Christmas New York trip.

I can’t count anymore, how many I have taken with your company, but they all have been just super.

This was great, the weather up and back was nice and we had a wonderful drive, whose name I forgot.

But he stopped at a wonderful road side dinner (the 6 brothers) someplace in New Jersey. So much better than that other road side place we always stop at.

My hat is off to you and your staff.

I shall be looking forward to hearing from you with other upcoming trips.

Have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year.

Hi Beth,
We want you to know that it was a wonderful trip we had to Vermont. If you ever have any trips that you need for fill-ins, etc. please let us know.
Sincerely,
Pat and Don Hinkley

Dear Sir:

Yesterday I had the pleasure of participating in your trip to Toronto to see Happy Days. I’d like to take this opportunity to let you know how much my group enjoyed this tour.

This day trip was led by Elizabeth McCulloch (and her mom) and the bus driver was Angela. What a pleasant experience! They were full of energy, entertaining and made the whole day so enjoyable. Another service which was provided to us was the fact that we were picked up at the Lakeshore Hospital which is a minute from our residences.

So many times we are quick to report things that are not quite right with a tour of this kind, so we thought we’d take a moment to let you  know when things go PERFECTLY. Thank you for providing these tours. You can be sure that we will definitely book another trip with D and F.

       Sincerely,
       Shirley Szczublewski

Dear Sirs,

I am writing to commend the positive performance and excellent customer service skills of a member of your driving staff.
Bernie was the operator of our tour bus when we went to the D&F sponsored excursion to Toronto to watch the Toronto Blue Jays vs the New York Yankees on September 5, 2009.
Bernie impressed up with his driving abilities and traffic reading skills, especially his dealing with some of the worst drivers we have seen in a long time. Bernie insured a safe arrival to Toronto area, we also had a smooth timely trip home to the Buffalo area.
When we arrived at our house we realized that we had left our Grandson’s prized Yankee shirt on the tour bus, but a quick call to Bernie’s cell phone (he had given his number to all of the passengers) eased our fears. Bernie had recovered the shirt when he was checking his bus and he made arrangements to meet me near my home in East Aurora to return the shirt. Believe me this was a big deal to me and my family, the story was told at a large family gathering the next day!
In this, the day of the “who cares” employee it was truly refreshing to meet and ride with Bernie, in my Grandson’s (and our) eyes, Bernie is one of the good guys.
We definitely will go on other trips with D&F and maybe, if we are real lucky, Bernie will be our driver.

Please accept this letter of support on behalf of D & F Travel Motor Coach Company. In addition to Ms. McCulloch’s work with the Main Street Program, D & F Travel’s staff has also volunterred at many community events including: Lockport’s Molson Canal Concert Series, where they also provided transportation for visitors to and from the concert arena; the Lockport Outdoor Arts and Crafts Festival; Lockport’s Downtown Halloween Festivities; and many others.

Again, D & F Travel has my strongest support.

Dear Folks at D&F Travel,
Just got back from your Montreal-Quebec City trip. The trip was the best bus/coach trip I have taken. The guider escord, Linda, was low key and calm, and as a result the trip was no only enjoyable, but also very, very relazing.
The relaxing part was superbly aided by Jerry, the coach driver. He is a jewel. The best driver I have experienced. Even better than a driver in London, England with whom I had enjoed about 20 trips.
Thank you,
Halimn ForQuibr
